Malware in OSMC Windows installer?

OSMC installer being treated as virus by Norton

Hi, I have two RPi’s setup, my Pi 2 is already on OSMC 0.9.9, and loving it. I have now decided to convert my RPi 1 that is still running on Raspbmc up to OSMC. However, when I try and download the Installer from the official Download site (Download - OSMC), Norton Internet Security treats the installer as a Virus and removes it from my PC. [image] I know I can restore the file, but I do not want to incase it has been hacked. Has anybody else encountered this? Thanks Lightingman2003

VirusTotal.com shows osmc-installer.exe infected?

Just downloaded osmc-installer.exe from Download - OSMC. Virustotal shows 4 different AV engines show positives (infected). Are those false positives or do I have to worry? McAfee-GW-Edition and Sophos ML are usually pretty reliable… Thanks Dan

Interestingly, downloading the Windows Installer programme causes Malwarebytes to say it should be quarantined…

If you have any AV software that flags this I would appreciate it if you could report it as a false positive
