Remote control slower scroll/need to press button twice

hello, Yesterday the remote control behaves a little bit differently. It behaves as if it misses some clicks. when i i am in my movie list and i hold the down button to scroll down the list it moves very slowly. Before yesterday, by holding down the down button scrolling down the movie list was really fast. When i watch a movie and bring the menu to navigate to the subtitles, i behaves as i have to press the button twice in order to move to the next icon , for example play, stop, next etc… i…

LIRC not working after October update

Tried running irw, but says no such file or directory. /usr/var/run/lircd folder is empty. I am using an USB IR receiver. I have both Vero4k and RPI’s and neither work.
