Hi,
After the kodi 18 update, the youtube addon shows options for playing 2160p Videos while having its resolution limit set to 1080p. Selecting the 2160p option plays a 720p Video. Is there a way to get a 1080p video playback option back?
A bit of search on a forum normally is a time saving measurement.

I tired those settings. Enabling vp9 forces my pi to use software decoding and it suffers from frame drops.
Enabling webm actually streams 4k which the raspberry pi does not support.
Changing the max resolution decoder to 1080p for both general and secure causes 1080p videos to play at 720p while those 2160p videos will show 2160p and 720p options. Selecting the 2160p will stream a video at 720p.
Seems every new version of Kodi breaks something for me. Previously it was 1080p 60 support. Now the only videos that will stream at 1080 are those that are uploaded at that resolution.
