I have a Vero 4K connected via HDMI(Arc) to Soundbase Sony HT-XT1–>Sony TV KDL-50W815B (HDMI Arc). Soundbase XT1 support :
DTS-HD Master Audio*
Dolby Digital Plus*
DTS-HD High Resolution Audio*
DTS-HD Low Bit Rate*
Linear PCM 2ch 48 kHz or less
Linear PCM Maximum 7.1ch 192 kHz or less*.
What is a optimal or recommended system audio setup parametars (or connection type beside mine) for passthrough audio.
Enable all passthrough options and set audio to 7.1
Thanks, Best Match or Optimised in my case?
Best Match usually works more like you would expect, and sends whatever is in the media via HDMI.
Optimized sometimes gets “stuck” and keeps trying to send the sound format from the last media.
Best match is the default and recommended by us (also in your case). Optimized is best avoided.
Really helpful thread.
What about the Sony ht xf9000 soundbar?
Should I set the audio to 7.1 too?
PS. Specs are:
Dolby® Digital, Dolby Digital Plus™, Dolby® TrueHD, Dolby Atmos®,Dolby® Dual mono,DTS®,DTS-HD High Resolution Audio™,DTS-HD Master Audio™,DTS-ES,DTS 96/24,DTS:X™,LPCM(2ch / 5.1ch / 7.1ch), DSD(2ch / 5.1ch)
I was on a commute and searching on the phone, so not a thorough search. I will do my homework now.
