OSMC Animations

Great animations : )
Bubbles are my faves :champagne:

So is there a way to add them?

Not just yet

Sam

Instead of the small bubbles I would maybe have the logo appear and make a big ripple

I think the big ripple is a very nice idea, I’ll probably try it out soon!

And here’s the next OSMC animation, with audio as promised.

OSMC Animation 3A (5sec)

OSMC Animation 3B (5sec)

More animations coming soon!

Less sharp sound make it more mellow if you need help I can help out

Actually I really liked the sound because of its sharpness.
But feel free to try to edit or use a different sound :slightly_smiling_face:

I don’t mind it being sharp but when its all treble and hi range it kinda ticks of my tinnitus again offering my services since I really got good experience with sound engineering etc :stuck_out_tongue:

You have my sympathy - I’m lucky in that it doesn’t trigger mine (which is mainly stress related). My younger sister awhile back had a problem in that a hearing aid which was supposed to help her actually made her tinnitus worse - the notch settings hadn’t been properly effected to suit her.

It’s time for some new animations:

OSMC Animation 4A (10sec)

OSMC Animation 4B (10sec)

I have some more coming very soon.
Enjoy!

This version IS very cool with a very good idea

The sound sends my hearing aids into feedback. :confounded:

Didnt activate the sound. I was just talking about the graphical idea

@samfisher I like laser cutting effect too

3A & 3B looks good too

Thx for all the comments!

It’s still winter so I just made a very icy and cold animation:

Oh I like this one! (5A)

Ooh, these animations are awesome and from beyond this planet!
I noticed Sam saying there is no way to implement them.
Forgive me my (stupid) question, but what is the use for these animations, other than look at them?

Hopefully we will be able to implement them in the future.
Unfortunately at the moment, it’s not easy to do so. It might be possible to implement them as a startup video in the OSMC skin however.

BURG is one way to go not sure if you ever looked at that bootmanager
