Hi all,
I recently buy vero4k+ with the DVD-T2, and I have installed tvheadend available from MyOSMC.
I have installed tvheadend client from kodi add-ons too, but I got no TV channels…
journactl pop some logs, when I launch rescan from the tvheadend WebUI
nov. 20 21:09:39 osmc tvheadend[1213]: mpegts: 690MHz in DVB-T Network - tuning on Realtek RTL2832 (DVB-T) #0 : DVB-T #0
nov. 20 21:09:39 osmc tvheadend[1213]: epggrab: 690MHz in DVB-T Network - registering mux for OTA EPG
nov. 20 21:09:39 osmc tvheadend[1213]: subscription: 0050: "scan" subscribing to mux "690MHz", weight: 5, adapter: "Realtek RTL2832 (DVB-T) #0 : DVB-T #0", network: "DVB-T Network", service: "Raw PID Subscription"
I don’t known why it doesn’t works.
The adapter seems works well
[ 4.527600] usb 1-1.4: dvb_usb_v2: schedule remote query interval to 200 msecs
[ 4.535648] usb 1-1.4: dvb_usb_v2: 'OSMC Engineering DVB-T2' successfully initialized and connected
And when I plug the cable antena in my TV, I got all tv channel as expected
So ?
I hope anybody could help me,
Thx
To get a better understanding of the problem you are experiencing we need more information from you. The best way to get this information is for you to upload logs that demonstrate your problem. You can learn more about how to submit a useful support request here .
Depending on the used skin you have to set the settings-level to standard or higher , in summary:
enable debug logging at settings->system->logging
reboot the OSMC device
reproduce the issue
upload the log set either using the Log Uploader
method within the My OSMC menu in the GUI or the ssh
method invoking command grab-logs -A
publish the provided URL from the log set upload, here
Thanks for your understanding. We hope that we can help you get up and running again shortly.

A guess … try to configure it to use DVB-T2 rather than DVB-T
I assume you have found this, @fdef :
To watch broadcast (OTA or cable) TV on your OSMC device you need these:
a TV tuner attached via USB or a networked TV box
software ‘server’ to handle the tuning, retrieve OTA EPG and act as a PVR
an addon for Kodi which interfaces Kodi to the server
OSMC provides a USB tuner in the online Store, the TVHeadend server and the TVHeadend HTSP client to do all this. Here’s how to set it up.
Plug the tuner into a USB port and attach a good aerial or cable connection.
Make sure your device is co…

Hi,
No I didn’t find this, but I have tried to configure it by myself with the wizzard, and as I look in you tutorial, I was made no misstakes
Maybe, your tutorial should be add in the official vero/osmc documentation !
Cheers
Yes, it will show as DVB-T. The only place you will see DVB-T2 is in the configuration of the ‘muxes’.
In the TVH webui, did you enable the sony tuner, and only the sony tuner?

Humm strange, I upgrade osmc as kodi proposed to me.
Upgrade success, reboot succes.
And now, I lost the two lines called Sony xxx.
Now I have just:
Realtek RTL2832 (DVB-T) #0 : DVB-T #0
I the other hand, I see in muxes the DVB-T2 but the rescan don’t start…
Please ssh into the vero and issue the following commands:
sudo systemctl stop tvheadend
rm ~/.hts/tvheadend/input/linuxdvb/adapters/*
sudo systemctl start tvheadend
Then go into the webui and see if the sony tuner has appeared.
Configure only the Sony DVB-T tuner and ignore the Realtek one.

How should I do ? The antena is on the building roof… And no, problem if I connect the cable on my TV and bypass vero4k+
Any software tuning is possible ?
In my experience, all DVB sticks (I have a few) are always less sensitive than you find on a mains powered TV.
You could try an RF amplifier.
