OSMC's June update is here with Kodi v20 - OSMC

As far as I know, 3D was never ever running on Raspberry Pi 4/400.
And the last version for Pi 2/3/3+ supporting 3D was OSMC running Kodi 18.9, 2020.11-1 (kernel 4.19.122-2-osmc) from the following disk image installation file:

Correct.

Done as given below no freezing as yet, many thanx :+1:

Had another go at using the new kernel. Cleaned up to samba workgroup names that were returning duplicate errors. Not sure if related or not but for more than 24h it’s been hassle free. Thanks Sam.

I upgraded to 2023.07 and I still see screen freezes as described above.

Kodi log shows nothing relevant.

A dmesg shows this, one line per second:

[88579.820397] [drm] Resetting GPU.
[88580.860417] [drm] Resetting GPU.
[88581.820341] [drm] Resetting GPU.
[88582.860400] [drm] Resetting GPU.
[88583.820433] [drm] Resetting GPU.
[88584.860439] [drm] Resetting GPU.

Apparently nothing changed after upgrading to 2023.07. Current kernel is 5.15.92-1-osmc.

Vero4k+ after June update subtitles are on by default, can I change this back to off by default?

I don’t see how the June update would have done that but you could try during playback to open the subtitle settings, turn them off, then select the set as default for all media option in that screen. If that doesn’t do it then you should start a new thread that contains logs.

That worked, thanks, everytime we have an update it does strange things at least this one was easy to rectify, I had to clear out and reinstall last update as it would not even play HD files without stuttering

What did you do? I had stutters to, I had to set sync Video and Audio to stop the stutter and freezing of the Video
