PVR: No channel groups

decided I can’t wait and followed the instructions in the link you provided and update 1 of my Veros.
I have rebooted twice and run this command three times:

sudo systemctl stop mediacenter && rm /home/osmc/.kodi/userdata/Database/Epg*.db && rm /home/osmc/.kodi/userdata/Database/TV*.db && sudo systemctl start mediacenter

Every time, my channel groups have appeared!

I have found that whenever I make channel or epg changes to the hts back end (or I rescan and one or more of my local stations changed or added a subchannel) I need to do the “delete epg/tv db and restart kodi” process to to get the changes to show up. In theory, the “delete data” options under the “TV Settings” in kodi ought to be having that effect, but there must be some bug in kodi core because although I see messages claiming it is reloading channels and epg data after that, the actual channel changes or epg updates don’t show up.

Ok, thanks. I’ll keep that in mind, but so far so good with Kodi 21.
