Raspberry B+ issues with kodi 17

Hi all, I recently updated my raspberry to osmc running kodi 17, but I have some major issues since then:
-it keeps losing settings, even if I don’t reboot. For example, randomly yatse stops working and I have to check again the option for enabling external application to control, or the time format for the clock keeps changing to 12h am-pm from 24h format.
-wifi performance dropped with my nano edimax dongle

Aeon MQ7 Krypton sometimes fail on restart Pi2

Set things appropriately and then go back to the main menu and “Exit” Kodi. This should allow the guisettings.xml to be written correctly. Wait about 10secs and Kodi will restart, hopefully with all your config still intact.

Was it raining when you did the upgrade to v17?

Well you wrote that wifi performance dropped, as the last update didn’t changed any packages related to the network the update is unrelated to wifi performance as much as the weather is to your update.
