Just to confirm, I just tried the solution from AdamKing. Works perfectly.
In addition of the post of AdamKing. What if this is your only rPi?
I’m unable to do some updates on a pi 2 because I do not have any.
Anyone has an other possible solution?
Patience?
I’m sorry, the excitement was talking
Works fine !!
I too buy Pi 3 today
I don’t have Pi 2. I want my Pi 3 to work and the shop said it work with OSMC
So less posting

I dont think there is an official release for the pi3 at present, it is being worked on, this thread is for work arounds to get the current version working, alot of posts are derogatory considering the software is free and they are working hard to release a bug free version rather than an alpha/beta to the public for them to complain about that instead. give them time to work their magic, it was only released monday!
or that ^ lol
And for me WITH NO PI 2? WHAT I DO?
Wait for the updated image to be released
Wait.
If you know someone that has Pi 2…
Sounds like a personal problem to me. And now, no one cares if you ever get your Pi working…
I am sure THEY CARE
Not my fault your OSMC is not working
just DO YOUR JOB and make it WORK NOW
Wind your neck in sunshine.
1 more post like that and you’re outta here.
Do you really think that comments like that will get you anywhere??
Netflix and chill …
no comments on your tone. IMO you should get banned for this…
