What is the current recommended tweaks to optimise the (non-gigabit) ethernet port of the Original Vero 4K, for playback of UHD files?
I’m curious to try again without my USB gigabit adapter - just for simplicity of setup/neatness - but I always found minor issues with the built-in ethernet port. “buffering is too slow” messages etc. This was despite using NFS shares both from both a Synology and an SSD ubuntu server. These issues went away using the USB adapter, and movies started a lot quicker.
I recall there may have been some recommended command line tweaks customising the buffer size etc to improve things with the built-in adapter?
