So, I got Super Nintendo Games running on my Vero 4K through IAGL 
But every arcade game I try ends up with a sad face. I tried all MAME emulators.
I was also wondering which controller profiles to use with MAME?
How about some debug logs. since we haven’t developed a sense of seeing into customers homes yet…

I think the emulators are still quite experimental.

I don’t know if IAGL shows which MAME version is used, since I know from using local ROMs that MAME2000 works in OSMC, but MAME2003 doesn’t. So it might just be that the ROM is made for 2003.
There are no dependencies in the emulator addon, my guess it uses the default controller of kodi.

so im guessing here but incompability its all kinda meh in the end i rather just run with the plain old frontend until a real scraper is working

You are on your own. Most ROMs are still covered under copyright so you’ll receive no advise on acquiring them here.
So I got my hands on some Arcade games and they’ve been running great with the advancedsettings.xml “hack” and just using the frontend.
Then I updated to OSMC 05-02 and the files stopped loading again
