Well you are missing a driver for the device.
Currently it is not supported. @sam_nazarko may introduce the driver in an upcoming update. See this thread

Edimax Wireless Adaptor (Realtek rtl8192)

My Edimax Wireless adaptor doesn’t work on my RBP2. It used to work a few years ago, but not sure what distro I was using then. From what I can find in the forums, there are a few (conflicting) drivers available.
