A post was merged into an existing topic: Mediacenter crash after update (CEC related)
What I did:

Changed skin to OSMC in guisettings.
Result: still bootloop but now with OSMC skin. -
Deleted the .kodi/userdata/addon_data folder.
Result: still bootloop. -
Deleted .kodi/userdata/guisettings.xml
Result: no more bootloop.
The issue is definitely in guisettings.xml! Now I can watch TV again
