hello everybody. i have an ssd drive and doesn’t work. so i bought the powered USB hub from OSMC but still it doesn’t work. what am i doing wrong?
Suggest to open a new thread and attached the URL for the logs you can upload via MyOSMC → Log Uploader.
Although I agree with fzinken’s post above, since it is somewhat related to the OP you should be aware that not all USB hard drive adapters are natively supported by Linux. It might be prudent to search the innerwebs for whichever drive/adapter your using as it pertains to Linux support just to make sure that it would be expected to work in the first place.
ok . how do i make al log and post it here
so vero 4k+ runs on Linux
Yes, OSMC is based on Debian.
Go to MyOSMC -> Log Uploader
upload the full log and share the URL here
sorry i dont understand this
To get a better understanding of the problem you are experiencing we need more information from you. The best way to get this information is for you to upload logs that demonstrate your problem. You can learn more about how to submit a useful support request here.
Depending on the used skin you have to set the settings-level to standard or higher, in summary:
-
enable debug logging at settings->system->logging
-
reboot the OSMC device twice(!)
-
reproduce the issue
-
upload the log set (all configs and logs!) either using the
Log Uploader
method within the My OSMC menu in the GUI or thessh
method invoking commandgrab-logs -A
-
publish the provided URL from the log set upload, here
Thanks for your understanding. We hope that we can help you get up and running again shortly.
