[TESTING] Kodi 17 (Krypton) Beta Builds for all platforms

Live TV freezes after few minutes
I have Tvheadend 4.1-2301 and Tvheadend HTSP Client 3.4.7

And you have not provided logs so, little we can doā€¦

To get a better understanding of the problem you are experiencing we need more information, including logs from you. Our wiki contains detailed steps for providing the relevant info we need to help you.

Before uploading any logs, you should ensure that Debugging is enabled in Kodi. This can be done by going to Settings ā†’ System ā†’ and selecting Enable Debugging. You should then perform a reboot of your device and perform only the minimum actions required to replicate this issue so that it is easy to identify the cause of the problem.

Is there a specific reason why you are running GPU at 320 instead of 256? Iā€™m not sure where you would get any benefit here.

Is this location still valid/reachable? Are the paths for recording and/or EPG still valid and reachable?

There will be soon. We had to rip BTPlayer out (which is our new player) for now due to DBus problems with drive automounting

@ActoinA

Now GPU is 256 Command and getDiskSpace is reachable
Live TV is still freezing

This is already patched in Git. It will be fixed in the new release. You can manually edit the repository XML for now.

Thank you, where can I find more information?

You can find the exact commit in Git. Iā€™ve squashed it though (I am rebasing the Krypton branch regularly).

Sometines ago I have read a thread where someone donā€™t have access to the Kodi repo.
But I canā€™t find itā€¦ :frowning:

Currently I have the same problem, with Kodi 17 on OSMC I dinā€™t have access to the Kodi Repo.
Is that an know issue?

Regards

//Edit:
I have found the solution some posts above.
Sorry for the trash :x

Yep ā€“ itā€™s literally four posts above.

But I have an other problem.
And this time I have take an look on the posts before. :smiley:

I canā€™t switch to the fullscreen mode. It is set to the window mode and it is grey, so I canā€™t change it.
When I look TV it is not an problem. But some of the UI are now outsite of the screen. And in the window mode I canā€™t change the screen calibrationā€¦ :frowning:

Change the aspect ratio or wide settings on the TV, not the pi.

New install on Rpi 3 of current release. Then upgrade to the latest build using the instructions at the beginning of this post. Global search does not work. Asks to install but does nothing. Tried installing via add ons again does nothing.

Other than that. Seems to work fine.

MySQL all media is stored on NAS shared via SAMBA since 10 years!

Cheers

Probably related to (a few posts above) where repos are a bit bodged.

Will be fixed in the next build. Stay tuned, and thanks for testing.

This is my problem.
I cant change the aspect ratio on my screen settings.

I think it is an Vero2 only problem, so I try it tomorrow with an pi and will give feedback then.

//Edit:
On my Pi I donā€™t have this Problem.
Is there a way to ā€œforceā€ fullscreen kodi?

Device: Vero 2
Osmc version: October (Kodi 16), which was then updated to Kodi 17.0 Beta5 (compiled Oct 31,2016) as per Samā€™s first post.

Before first reboot I edited the xbmc repository as per [TESTING] Kodi 17 (Krypton) Beta Builds for all platforms - #199 by ntim

A few seconds after Kodi launches it gives me the error ā€œPulse-Eight CEC Adapter: Couldnā€™t initialize CEC adapter. Please Check Your Settingsā€
