Hi,

Not gonna lie when we had the build breaking bug a few weeks ago, i moved to another dist.
Really wanting to move back to osmc, as its probably the fastest and most stable version for kodi for the pi3.
But need help before i can return, the dist im using has the perfect button mapping for my mce remote control, so how would I go about moving this into osmc.

I tried overwrting some files(keymaps folder, from kodi/system), but cant get anything to work.

Kind Regards

I seem to have got into a bit of a loop when using latest Krypton build (10 Sep) although it probably applies to all of them. The MyOSMC app does not work in Programs. I tried switching to confluence but I get the same issue.

I am trying to move this Pi3 from WiFi to wired and cannot access the network settings as there is no app available.

This may be a known issues, but I thought I had read that the MyOSMC app was now included in the Krypton builds as of last week.

IS there a hack to allow me to disable WiFi and enable a wired connection.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers
Spart

Also worth noting you cannot disable and uninstalll this app then reinstall as the uninstall option is greyed out.

Go into add-on setting ,manage dependencies, and see if the different parts are enabled, that all I had to do to get myosmc working.
They appear to be disabled by default.

They shouldn’t be disabled on latest builds. I sent @gmc a fix for this.

@bmonster that solved it thank you for your prompt reply.

@sam_nazarko definitely not fixed Sam as this was updated this morning with the latest version.

I’m busy redoing the builds. For some reason they seem to stuck on 156 when the latest is 158.
Pi1 updates work to 158, but Pi2/3 is stuck on 156.

It’s fixed here (I tested it myself).

Post a log if you still have problems.

Just a thought, if at some point I manually disabled these addons, would osmc remember, and keep them disabled after an update.
That could be what’s happened for me, I’m sure I disabled them a while ago due to some problems.

Yes.
