Ok,
Thanks
Ok,
Thanks
We said it a million times Post a log of your issues not all addons are compatible with Krypton so just threating to move to another disto is not a solution.
FYI this is a development branch so shit is gonna break the thing YOU as the user should do is not complain about it rather post a log
Someone canāt read
You need to post a log for the remote issue. You also need to post what you tried instead of just saying that you tried modifying the keymap. You havenāt even told us what remote youāre usingā¦
Your post history shows you have a habit of posting vague descriptions of problems without logs to back them up. Without logs, we cannot advise. In which case, it may be a better option to use the other distribution that works for you.
No problem, you can remove me from the forum.

Latest update this morning seems to to disappeared any sign PVR Clients and my MythTV addon (working yesterday) has disappeared. I cannot find any sign of PVR within the menu structure.
If you know here it should be (pretty sure it was under Addons MyAddons PVR Clients) let me know wher eto look. It may have been moved as part of the dev!
D I need to re-install PVR somehow?
Checked in Addons Myaddons
Addons Install from repo all repos (there is no PVR Category)

Having lots of issues with the latest builds. Tried on 2 piĀ“Å a 3 and a 2. Both exhibit the same behaviour. All PVR related settings disappear. Both were working iwth MythTV perfectly yesterday. Now there seems to be no way to enable a PVR client.
I cannot play anything from them across the network it is as if the smb client is not working. I have never had an issue with any build not connecting to the NAS server. Now the log simply displays the following type of message for any media item you try to play:
14:56:17 765.265137 T:1958887424 ERROR: Error creating player for item smb://xxx:xxx@xxx/TV/Cleverman/Season 1/Cleverman.S01E01.SD.TV-First Contact.mkv (File doesnāt exist?)
14:56:17 765.266113 T:1958887424 ERROR: Playlist Player: skipping unplayable item: 0, path [smb://USERNAME:PASSWORD@xxxx/TV/Cleverman/Season 1/Cleverman.S01E01.SD.TV-First Contact.mkv]
Logically it seems that the smb client is not working as that would account for the file does not exist etc.
Ubuntu nightly version works fine.
Tried going back to 156 with sudo apt-get install rbp2-mediacenter-osmc=16.8-156 that puts the PVR client settings back but clearly something changed as i cannot play any media from the network.
Currently both piĀ“s are non-functional.
Hope this helps others avoid these builds until fixed.
EDIT: Forgot to mention that going back to stable with sudo apt-get install rbp2-mediacenter-osmc=16.1.0-20 results in the pi working again after a bit of config.
Cheers

Can you go back to the broken build and try and delete Addons.db under the Kodi userdata folder?
A log might also help. Let me know if a future build resolves this
Sam
@sam_nazarko not sure what your expectation was but nothing changed after deleting all Addons*.db from .kodi/userdata/Database
Cheers

Okay, thanks for trying. Rules out the possibility of a change I made recently.
Sam
Hi Sam,
Also for me all PVR relates things disappeared. I do not find any PVR clients in addon Kodi repo.
I am on rbp2-mediacenter-osmc 16.8-159
and upgraded today from the last stable OSMC release.
Please instructions how to get Live TV with tvheadend working on 16.8-159
.
Thanks in advance, and for all your good work so far! I LOOVE KODI on OSMC!
Cheers
You may need to downgrade or wait for a new build unfortunately
thx for the quick replyā¦ i will first try to downgrade to 16.8-156
.
ā¦ and going back to 16.1.0-12
via sudo apt-get install rbp2-mediacenter-osmc=16.1.0-12
which made PVR working again!
Hi im having trouble installing your build from the instructions in OP.
When I put deb Index of /osmc/osmc/download/dev/gmc ./ in my /etc/apt/sources.list then run apt-get update I get this error.
Err http://download.osmc.tv ./ Packages
Iāve read the rest of the posts and I see there has been this problem before, I tried the other paths, but to no avail. As these errors out too. Also added deb http://apt.osmc.tv jessie main to my sources.list
Are the current op instructions the correct ones atm? And/or is there a problem with the repos?
Raspberry pi 3 running upto date (new install) raspbian. Have tried alsorts over the past 4 hours but just canāt get it to install.
