Iā€™m pretty sure you have to run one or the other gmc reposā€¦ Remove one.

This has been covered.
You canā€™t update via My OSMC if you use GMCā€™s builds.

Weā€™ll have to adjust the updater to account for this.

Sorry Sam my bad didnā€™t read everything :open_mouth:

Just did the update via command line and itā€™s unpacked -005 over -003 correctly

Ouch !!! The next morning turn on the TV I see my Automatic Update addon because I have my WMC recording 24/7 show me server not showing click yes to remove or leave it alone. So clicked leave it alone. Then I watched Kodi on the latest build reboot like 4 times then crashā€¦ Sorry can not get the log.

You really seem like you are more interested in having a stable system. Iā€™m really not sure why you are trying to run these very early development builds where breakage is expected and may not have fixes immediately available.

HELL NO ! I have 4 piā€™s running with all different buildsā€¦Just want to keep updating whats going on. When Krypton and my logs didnā€™t work I was told to move on to 18 ā€¦ Sorry buddy its not me ā€¦ and ā€¦

Iā€™ve updated the description to make sure only one repo is used. Seems like a common issue.

Nothing broken but I still have Live TV studder on HD channels do my logs help ?

Seeing loads of these errors - no idea on the error though.

17:12:05.729 T:1198519280 ERROR: ffmpeg[476FF3F0]: [mpeg2video] Invalid frame dimensions 0x0.

Would a log from the working Krypton for comparison help ?

Sorry missed this post Yes the CNN HD channel is in 1080 I use the scrolling news marque as the test on the builds

Smooth on Latest Krypton
Smooth on the First build I think on 18 but not anymore little studder

When I get a chance I will read up on moving back to the original build of 18 to double check it

Ok did the following

remove the GMC repository from sources.list and then run
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install rbp2-mediacenter-osmc=17.8-001

Did not work

PLEASE if you arenā€™t going to use a pastebin for long runs of code, use the </> code tags when posting!

Sorryā€¦Didnā€™t think I needed a log I thought one of the lines I entered was wrong

As soon as this is in, Iā€™ll be testing with the wireless 360 controller again. Like with the custom kernel 4 months ago.
There has to be a way to use this widespread device as both remote control and game controller in OSMC without the need for a dual boot environment.
Thread is on watch list now.

Update on working on All builds from 17 up to 18 As you know I am testing the Hdhomerun Comcast Testing Channel is CNN HD 1080 switching around different buildsā€¦GUESS what !! My Canakit USB 2.5 amp power supply is not sending full voltage !! Im ordering a USB voltage meter

All my hard work ! with Crappy supply !

Power supplies make a huge difference. Had one go flaky on me the other day.
