I update 17.8.212 to 17.8.221
The version 17.8.212 worked perfectly, I had no problem.
By moving to 17.8.221, I lost the entire movie library.
The movie widgets are all empty and do not load.
By launching a Library Update, the system rebuilds all of it.
I downgraded in 17.8.214 but no better, so I need to recreate my entire library … too bad for me
I haven’t seen any recent changes to the library. If you post some debug logs they might give a clue to the problem.

You also have quite a few old packages. You might want to run
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
