could it be that latest CEC patch ([package] [mediacenter-osmc] Update CEC behaviour changes for Krypton · osmc/osmc@b5209b9 · GitHub) is missing (again) in Leia builds for Vero?
Appropriate options are missing in settings.

I have my Vero 4K running on the Kodi 18 alpha. Now I wanted to add my SMB drive. I’m able to find all shares but not to open or add these to Kodi. I receive the message “File exists” (see log here: http://paste.osmc.tv/uqufanukab1).

Anybody a idea how to resolve.

One note: Everything worked already fine. But I had to reset my router and with this my server has now a different IP address which causes me to remove the SMB share from Kodi and add it again.

I’ve tried 187 and 188 so far on my 4K. I’ve tried resetting the Kodi settings altogether by renaming the directory and restarting Kodi to no avail. I’ve got 2 issues:

The “Archive” function (VFS) doesn’t seem to be working at all (I have enabled it in My Addons). It does not list any archives. If it can actually play them or not is unknown as I can’t browse them.
I’ve added sources to the “Games” view. Specifically I’ve tried adding a directory with a .smc (SNES) file in it. This is not listed either, just empty with “…” to go back. If they can actually play is also unknown as I can’t browse any games. But the sources are added and visible, just not any files in them.

Sorry. I was sure I had enabled one of them. Now when I tried, I got sadface on every SNES emulator except for the 2002 one. But that one does seem to work!

Edit: well, I might’ve spoken too soon, even this one gets sadface sometimes. A bit unstable but playable. Not sure about save states etc though, but yeah. Every other time I launch one of my 3 games it sadfaces.
