Works for me on the latest build - you just have to ensure all resolutions (4k and various refresh rates) are whitelisted in the system - video screen. This is the new v18 upstream changes Sam is talking about.

Whitelisting 2160p worked. But there are some other issues the lastest stable build doesn´t have. Color banding is back, as I tested with Planet Earth II UHD BD. Terrible Banding in certain scenes, no banding issues on stable build. Settings were the same.
And for some reason, i cant get the ‘Info’ overlay working while video is running. (Key binding in keymap.xml is the same as in latest stable build, where it did work on)

Unfortunately Kodi v18 is quite experimental so you should expect breakage if you use these builds.

They will likely be resolved in the next few days.
