If you go back to previous version do you still have the issue?
the non-beta (non leila) version has no issues.

Is it possible to install the āpre releaseā version, currently on RC1 instead of the nightly builds?
Running RC1 on my 4k firestick and seems pretty stable. Was worried nightly builds might introduce other issues. Perhaps Iām worrying unnecessarilyā¦
There are no official builds yet, these are all nightly builds. You could just disable checking for updates but then you will not get the latest skin etc. Or you could try remove gmc-18 from sources.
If you do run into issues you can always downgrade to the previous version.
Apologies if Iām asking things beyond the remit of this board.
On firestick Leia RC1 Skins Iām giving 4 options (and Iāve beenvgetting over my migration from Aeon Flux to Rapier).
On the Vero Iām on 17.8-359 and changing skins gives a similar sized list as Krypton.
Leia RC1 only supports skins āConfluence, Pellucid, Rapier, Transparency, xperience1080ā
But I get ERROR: CAddonInstallJob[skin.rapier]: The dependency on xbmc.gui version 5.12.0 could not be satisfied.
Thatās a skin issue not a Kodi or OSMC issue. I believe the correct xbmc.gui dependency for 18RC1 is 5.14. It seems like some of the betas has the requirement to set it to 5.13, but I noticed when RC1 actually came out that Estuary had it listed at 5.14. You should probably check with the skin author.

The problem appears to be the Krypton repository is being used instead of the Leia.
Looking into this. Can you post a debug log if your repo is still pointing to Krypton.
Thanks so much gmc, for the reply.
Strange now it has self fixed after a day. Since I noted the problem kodi.log:

Now I only see the Leia skins, and I just installed Rapier skin. Iām no longer ripping the skin off my hands in pain!
So sorry, canāt reproduce now
Did you manage to discover what is causing the BD-J menu error?
Unfortunately not yet.
BD-J cannot be used on OSMC; as it requires the Java runtime environment and a windowing system.

Does this mean OSMC will never be able to utilise full blu-ray menus which use BD-J (as most do) even though Kodi 18 supports this?
Correct. Kodi v18 doesnāt support this on GLES platforms.
Since todayās update, the volume keys are controlling kodiās volume instead of my AVR trough HDMI.
The CEC settings have always behaved a bit strange. When I reset them, I can indicate that Kodi is connected to my AVR instead of a TV, and in the past, changing this to AVR was enough to make Kodi control my AVR. After saving, that option disappeared however.
