Sam or anyone help with this? I posted the log and then nothing from anyone. I have a completely broken system
If it does, add echo 8bit > /sys/class/amhdmitx/amhdmitx0/attr
to /etc/rc.local, before the line exit 0
Not sure if this did anything?
osmc@osmc:~$ echo 4448bitnow | sudo tee /sys/class/amhdmitx/amhdmitx0/attr
4448bitnow
osmc@osmc:~$
Did I do it right?
No error indicates success
Ok so success but still no video
Let’s test with Kodi default settings. Enter the following commands with an SSH connection.
systemctl stop mediacenter
mv ~/.kodi ~/kodi.bak
systemctl start mediacenter
If needed you can restore:
systemctl stop mediacenter
mv ~/.kodi ~/kodi.bk2
mv ~/kodi.bak ~/.kodi
systemctl start mediacenter
If your original setup was restored as expected and you want get rid of the unneeded clean install you can delete that with the following command.
rm -r ~/kodi.bk2
Crap…
Still no good.
But turns out the HDMI was playing up as I did a hard boot of the receiver and it seems good.
I feel stupid now lol
Thanks everyone for assisting…
Can you update and try again?
Issue should be solved with:
Sam
Please post full logs – I can’t see if you updated
Right, updated the URL above.
I’m seeing something myself:
ii mediacenter-addon-osmc 3.0.719 all OSMC addon for mediacenter
No updates available (including via apt get)
It can take a bit of time for the update to propagate to all of the mirrors. It shouldn’t take long before it reaches you.
I just did the update and can confirm that it does fix the skin switching issue. Not that I change skins often. But when you need to change skins, it’s useful to have it actually work.
'-)
I confirm, solved.
I have 2 vero 4k+ and one is working great with the new builds but I’m having a problem with 1. This one i have played with more to try get my cec and resolutions recognized correctly so i have probably messed something up.
I was unable to run myosmc for the past few updates but when i was, when i went to scan for updates i would get an error and it wouldn’t scan. After the last update myosmc starts but i still get the update.
Logs are here

If it’s too hard or not worth chasing down ill just reinstall.
Thanks
Try removing the videoimprovement line from sources.list.
Thanks
Will do as soon as I get home
That sorted it. Thank you
As I said earlier I get a stutter when playing 3D-MVC files. I’ve arranged a log and a mediainfo
Log: https://paste.osmc.tv/ovohiyinic
Media: https://paste.osmc.tv/ogovesuqaz
I hope you can help me!
I’ve just read your initial post. Does it happen with all 3D-MVC files or do you have one which plays fine?
