It happens to all the files I’ve tried. Both on local and network storage. I’ve even tried the Kodi samples and get the same result.
In the log I can see that there are many things going on concurrently. I’d like to exclude high CPU load from the list. So can you do a test? Just reboot your Vero, wait about 5 minutes and then play a 3D-MVC video. Attach the log from this try.
Here comes a log as per your instruction:

I also have another thought. Do make 3D-MVC playback work with my projector I had to make a file disp_cap_3d. It contained the following:
1080p24hz FramePacking TopBottom
1080i50hz SidebySide
1080i60hz SidebySide
720p50hz FramePacking TopBottom
720p60hz FramePacking TopBottom
I don’t know if this file may cause this issue?
Are you still using it? Did your hardware change (new projector/TV, AVR)? If not, then you should use it.
I still use the same setup so I will keep the file.
According to the logs your projector doesn’t support 1920x1080 at 23.976 fps. Is this correct?
Can you post the output of
cat /sys/class/amhdmitx/amhdmitx0/disp_cap
No need, @tanio99, it’s in the logs. User needs to put this in ~/.kodi/userdata/disp_cap

That did the trick! You’re all awesome as usual. Thx!
Good to hear. Out of interest, what happens if you try and set the GUI to 1080p24hz? I would like to know if your EDID is just plain wrong (so a one-off) or if we should make sure 1080p24 is listed for all 3D displays.
I could set the GUI 1080p24Hz without any problem. Do you want me to post a log of that? Do you want me to start 3D-MVC video while the GUI is 1080p24?
Thank you. That’s telling us the EDID you are getting is just wrong. If you keep those two files in userdata you shouldn’t have any problems.
Again thank you for your help!
Since Kodi 19.1 is officially released today when will there be a osmc version be available?
This testing version is already 19.1, pretty much.
I’ve already bumped to 19.1, but I’m fixing a binary add-on issue before next build. Hopefully chased down tomorrow.
All Linux (and therefore OSMC related fixes) should be in.
Hi Sam. So will there be an official Osmc release with Kodi 19.1 implemented this week? That would be awesome because I wanted to watch my UHD rips this weekend.
There’s nothing in 19.1 over 19.0 that’s an improvement in that regard.
There will be a 19.1 build here in this thread by the weekend.
Sorry Sam…test build or final one?
A test build. There are still a few things to straighten out before a stable release
