TVHeadend playback with hardware acceleration blacked out after update

With the latest update of today (vero3-mediacenter-osmc:armhf/buster 18.9.0-4), the video playback of TVheadend is blacked unless i disable hardware acceleration.

I discovered yesterday my Vero4k not displaying the TV stream from TVHeadend anymore unless i disable the hardware acceleration. While my Vero4k+ still worked flawlessly yesterday i thought about complicatications with Hyperion and wanted to investigate further.

But today, after the update, my Vero4k+ showed the same effect. Video streams from TVHeadend are blacked out unless i disable hardware acceleration (in my case h264) for the player.

Here are the Vero4k logs from yesterday:

This effects all playback from TVHeadend, live tv as well as recordings. I am running tvheadend:amd64 4.2.8-36~g5bdcfd8ac~cosmic on an ubuntu amd64 server.
