Vero 4K + shipment details (08/08/18)

The problem was with the network speed (just a few kbit instead of nearly gbit.)
Tested with a dumb tp-link switch and with a managed unifi switch.

It would have helped if you contacted me that you have received the unit. And that you were testing it and so on.

I believe we’ve been keeping you updated via ticket #575402.
We also sent a confirmation email to you (check spam?) when we received the device.

After testing, your iperf tests show:

[ 4] local 192.168.0.100 port 5001 connected with 192.168.0.72 port 49559
[ 4] 0.0- 5.0 sec 560 MBytes 933 Mbits/sec
[ 6] local 192.168.0.100 port 5001 connected with 192.168.0.72 port 59866
[ 6] 0.0- 5.0 sec 560 MBytes 934 Mbits/sec

Nonetheless, we have issued a replacement device.

We are doing our best to get everyone’s devices out as quickly as possible (returns or new orders). Returns take 2-3 days to process (due to testing; contacting the customer).

No – if there’s a hardware problem, it cannot be resolved by software.

That might explain the issue.

What about same day shipping? :neutral_face:
I ordered my (second) Vero device on October 15th, so far no update whatsoever…

I don’t recall same day shipping, only 1 day shipping.

Your order has likely already shipped. Without an order number, it’s hard to tell

It depends on the time of the order placed whether it meets the cutoff or not. Obviously if you order at 23:00, it’s not going out that day.

OK, thanks for the reply.
My order #20764 was placed on 16/10, 13:59 local time (11:59 London time).
So, you are saying that it may have already shipped despite the fact that it is still marked as in processing? When should I expect a tracking number?

A tracking number is sent 24 hours after the first international (or final for domestic) scan point. We’ve made this change because some customers were constantly F5’ing the tracking page before this, and it would cause rate limiting.

I believe this has indeed already shipped for you.
