Vero 4k+ won't update

I noticed there was an update available through RSS feeds, but when I did the usual manual update check, nothing happened.
The player says it’s running version 2020 11-1 or something like that.

Have you tried the hotfix approach as recommended on the Kodi v19 release FAQ?

No, I didn’t see any FAQ section in this forum section. I have the Vero 4k+ player, not Kodi something.
