Sam, got an email from you one week ago saying you will redirect the shipment. I responded to that email two days ago.

Update April 17th.
Sam, another two days. No response by email. No response here. No change in tracking status. Sorry, you sent the shipment to a wrong address. Please, can we end that SOON? It’s becoming a REAL pain, sorry to say that. Inquiry after inquiry and… NOTHING? And well, catch up with me didn’t result in anything either. Come on. Please. I’m getting REALLY upset.

Maybe its easier for you to refund my money. So please. REFUND. But I DO NOT WANT TO WAIT ANOTHER 5 MONTHS!

@enderdeckard: Yes, I suppose that standard customer service. After you paid. The latest excuse I got was “that its weekend and Sam can’t contact Royal Mail”. Most likely he forgot it the entire week???

Hello, I have sent a few emails (to sales@osmc.tv and sam@osmc.tv), but no response for 2-3 days.
I am unable to track my Vero order, and I believe it may be lost in the mail. (The Royal Mail link tracking number didn’t work for me).
I’m not sure what to do at this point. If no other option, I will have to request refund.
Can I get any help here ? Order number #1445.

I must say I’m rather disappointed in your response here. I have tried to resolve this via email with you but to keep other users’ peace of mind I must reply here given the recent edit to your post.

I have replied to @enderdeckard and his issue has since been resolved, so I do ask you do not speculate on other customer’s orders unless they have made you aware of their situation.

I have given you a full refund as you have asked for. We always try to accomodate our users but it seems you have changed your address more than once via our online system after we have posted it. We have done our best to redirect the package (no doubt it will reach you soon and out of fairness we ask you refuse it so it is returned to us).

I am sorry we couldn’t keep you happy and I will take this situation on board, for now I ask that customers (present and future) ensure their shipment information is always valid. I have seen your previous posts in this thread and perhaps Vero was not a good fit for you. Others have waited for a while, and while I do appreciate the issue you’ve had, I must say that we have this could have been resolved much more amicably.

Unfortunately we only work 9-5 Monday to Friday here and this is the best we can do. I did enquire earlier this week however there is a small amount of time requested by the shipping company to look into these matters.

I ordered my Vero in November and just got it shipped to Singapore in early April. Looking on the bright side of things, the wait allowed the OSMC development to progress to a usable state. I have been happily using it but honestly I find myself going back to the Kodi Convergence skin to configure add-ons and then revert to OSMC.

I received the email that my unit is on the way here to the U.S. Yea!!!
I’m so glad to see the backlog is catching up. Much thanks to entire Vero/OSMC team, and also to all the forum members who post suggestions, and overall guidance. Cheers!!

Hi everyone!

Just a quick update: we’ve now shipped every Vero (with exception of a couple where we need to manually verify the address with the customer).

We can now dispatch orders on the same day and offer 1 working day delivery for the UK and 5 working day delivery for international orders.

Exciting times ahead!

I just noticed that you said that every Vero has been shipped. But not all have been received yet .

Great to see Vero back in stock and one day shipping in the UK. Ordered mine last night, can’t wait to get hold of it! :smiley:

Even the apple watch wasn’t as tense and stressful as getting the Vero. Here is it all ready to replace the RPi.

Glad to report my Vero arrived today, here in the U.S. Washington D.C. Metro area, 7 days from ship date in UK. More than half of the time my Vero was sitting in the New Jersey ISC, ( International Sorting Center). When a different media unit came from Israel recently, it was 2 weeks in the ISC, so Vero arrived earlier than I expected.

I just finished setting it up to my typical specs, and will begin some comparisons early in the week. A few early comments I’ll make,… The remote is glorious! The viewing chairs in the room where this unit is being used are about 10 feet from Vero, with clear LOS, with no issues to report. My go to HD test video plays as well on Vero with latest updates, as on Rpi2 running OSMC. The same test vid stutters at start, and every 30-40 seconds after, on Cubox i4 pro running latest openelec with similar settings, or running Android with Cubox i4 specific Kodi. As Vero and Cubox use somewhat similar hardware, and regardless of the software I have for Cubox, I was dreading Vero may also fail to play my test material, but Vero handled it well.

More tests, comparisons to follow.

I finally received my Vero! Its a wonderful and remarkably tiny device. I haven’t added my FreeNAS server as a source yet, so I can’t comment on the picture/sound quality.

Yet I have a few problems. It isn’t saving video calibration settings (still over-scans). It also seems to ignore USB keyboards. I’ve tried two different keyboards… directly and using a powered hub.

Got my Vero Friday but couldn’t play with it until yesterday (grrrr!). I’ve got to say it is awesome!

It’s quick and slick and has played everything I’ve thrown at it (on attached USB) without a hitch. My 5 year old daughter is playing all her stuff no probs and my wife loves it too which is a real BIG bonus!

I’ve got AirPlay working for photos from my phone but not videos yet. Only had a quick play on that bit. So many good features for me to tinker with. I’ve owned 6 media players in the past and immediately this is the best I’ve owned.

You really should be disabling overscan on your TV for the input the Vero is connected to. The “video calibration” option is a last resort if you are unable to disable overscan on the TV because you lose picture quality from Kodi scaling the image down and then the TV scaling it back up again.

Look for a picture size option like “Just fit”, “Just scan”, “screen fit”, “1:1” etc…

What sort of keyboard ? No problems with using USB keyboards on the Vero here and I haven’t seen anyone else report this. Do other USB devices like USB thumb drives work in the USB ports ?
