Crash during auto update : my Vero 4K+ seems bricked!

Hi,

My Vero 4k+ has crashed during an auto update.

I’ve tried to reboot, but I’ve got a black screen saying :

/dev/vero-nand/root : ********** WARNING: Filesystem still has error ************
Serious file system corruption found. We will do our best to repair this now.

Warning: OSMC cannot repair the filesystem and serious corruption may still exist.
We recommend backing up any critical data and performing a fresh install of OSMC.

So i’ve tried to make a usb key with the last version for Vero 4k+ with this version : OSMC_TGT_vero3_20200607.img.gz

But few minutes after the Vero 4k+ has started to boot on the usb Key I’ve got this message :
Install failed: can’t mount root.

I’ve tried 2 other USB Key (because i’ve found a similar topic here) Install Error, can't mount root

But problem still here…

So the install log on the usb key says :

Thx a lot
(Sorry for my english… i’m not a native speaker).

The device may be damaged or need a low level format. I suggest contacting support@osmc.tv.

Hi, thx for your response.
I’ve tried to contact support.
but no answer for the moment… :frowning:

I got your email, but I don’t always have time to reply on Saturdays.

Hi,
I returned my Vero 4K + by parcel 1 month ago.
But I have no news.
I’m worried that I haven’t heard from support.
Who should I contact please?
Best regards.

You can send an email to support@osmc.tv or via My OSMC.

It’s what I’ve done.
3 times : july the 21th, august the 1st, and today, but no answers…

I replied to you on 22nd July, 2nd August.

I will reply again to your email.

I didn’t receive a response on July 22 or August 2 (nothing in my spam folder …).
On the other hand, I received a response right away!
Thank you.

To confirm I’m sending to the write place: does your email end in 33?

Yes, that’s it !

Ok, thanks for confirming.
I will give you another update at the end of this weekend.

Thank you :relaxed:

Hi,

Do you have any fresh news ?
I didn’t receive any mail from support since 2 weeks.

Thanks a lot.

Hi Eric,

As I informed you – we were awaiting new stock.
We should receive this later today then process your request promptly.

Hi Sam,

Any news from the new stock you’ve received ?

Best regards

Hi Eric,

I’ve sent you another update.

There seems to be an issue with email delivery to you - so I’d recommend you use our ticket system which can be found at MyOSMC.com.

We just need you to confirm your address to replace this for you

Thanks

Sam

Hi Sam,

Did you receive my emails ?
Did you send me another unit please ?
