You would switch to fstab smb then or nfs?
NFS is best. But if it ain’t broke…
If it aint broke dont fix it
right
but why do you tell then i might still experience problems with high bitrate 4k content
what should i do then? still go with fstab smb?
should i cause all works now, im not to keen to change smth then lol
fstab mounts of nfs shares will provide the best performance.
Also consider buying a gigabit usb adapter for 10 bucks. With that you will also not have any problems with high bitrates either, even when using stock smb.
I don’t know what happened to my old username, it seems even my email address wasn’t found, so I created a new one. I had to comment on this thread… anyway, I digress.
This was painful to read. @sam_nazarko has the patiences of a Saint. @skank, I mean what the heck, you were told troubleshooting steps so many times, yet refused to do them. I hope we don’t see another thread from you with your refusals to follow any of the guidance.
There’s a method to the madness. When people ask specific questions, it’s to narrow down potential causes and to eliminate some variables. I wouldn’t have blamed @sam_nazarko if he didn’t respond until you tried what he was asking.
