Issues 4k UHD 60 FPS playback?

Recently Gemini Man 4k bluray 60 FPS was released. A 80-90 GB file with 60 FPS, 4k HDR and Dolby Atmos. I’ve started playback and experienced some weird issues, not sure if this is Vero related but perhaps I can start here to get some assistance.

I have an Vero 4k+
LG c8
Synology NAS fstab mounted

When I start the file I experience some hitches/hesitation in the audio. It ticks and/or maybe drops for a milisecond. After 5 minutes in it even drops the HDR signal, sound went on but the screen went black and after one second it came back… Also flashing the HDR flag in topright of the screen. So the fact that the screen went black and came back with the HDR flag makes me think the vero loses its connection somehow.

I’ve downloaded 2 verions of the file to see if both have the same issues, and they do. The specs of both files blow. What is that I can do to determine whats the issue here? Is it the Vero, and if so what goes wrong? Is it a bug?

I also watched this version of the movie on Philips OLED873 connected to Amplinuter Onkyo TX-8270
With the picture everything was OK while with the sound there were problems he could stutter and interrupt- i had to choose Dolby Digital 5.1 .
Unfortunately, after about an hour Vero 4k turned off due to overheating, i had to wait for it to cool down and resume watching.
I have the Vero 4k version, but my colleague also checked Vero 4k+ and it was the same.

Are there any other titles encoded like this?

Sam

Only other HFR UHD Bluray I can think of would be Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk

Does that play OK?

No idea - I don’t have it and haven’t seen it.
Just had a google and it is the only other HFR UHD release so far.

For now the content is limited… But a few big directors have already said that they will use this more often, because it fixes so many artifects people experience. So I think well be seeing more HFR in the future. The new Avatar movie will also be in 60 FPS.

edit: i’ve started download of Long Halftime Walk to see what happens there.

My adjust framerate is already enabled. But i’ll try fiddling around with it a bit tonight to see if anything makes a difference.

I’ve just only now read No signal from device after playing 60fps content so I’ll close this one.
