Okay, so under my master profile everything scrapes just fine, but under my children’s profile the scraper fails to get 80% of my files.
I tried themoviedb and universal scraper with IMDB.
Movies that were previously scraped, if I remove them from the library and try to rescrape them I get nothing.
It seams to be totally arbitrary which files it gets and which it doesn’t.
As an example, it scrapes “The Incredibles (2004) [UHDRemux].atmos.mkv” just fine but says no information found for “Incredibles 2 (2018) [UHDRemux].atmos.mkv”.
This is driving me crazy because it’s so arbitrary.

I tried to BOLD the titles it scrapes but instead it just puts “" because it’s preformatted text.
So anything with "” it scrapes, everything else it just says no information found.

So what I did here is removed “The Incredibles” from my library, reboot OSMC, update library, upload log.
Thinking whats best to look for is why it gets “The Incredibles” but not “Incredibles 2”.

In this log I went into my master user profile and added the “The Incredibles” directory to my library and the scraper had no issues getting both movies.
Look at 2019-07-28 04:29:01.907 and below.
So it would seam that it’s something unique to my children’s profile.
Worth noting, this issue has occured since resolving a seperate issue found in this thread: Enable Menu Customisation does nothing
Have you tried just renaming the file? Try something like:
Incredibles 2(2018).atmos.uhd.mkv
The scrapper can be oddly fussy about names sometimes. If that does not work I’d suggest that you ask for help on the Kodi forums as this is not an issue related to OSMC.
EDIT: What does the sources.xml look like for the childrens profile?
Renaming does nothing.
Also, my file name worked before just fine and still works fine now if I’m logged in to my master profile.
The issue only exists under my children’s profile.
Where do I find the source.xml file?
There may be 2 sources.xml. One in .kodi/userdata and the other in .kodi/userdata/profiles/Children
I noticed something in the log when it’s trying to find Incredibles 2:

That does not match the filename from what it looks like. I’m thinking that it’s something in the mkv headers that the TMDB is picking up on. You could try getting MKVToolNix and have a look at the file.

Okay, changed it to just “Incredibles 2 (2018)” in the mkv header and it still didn’t scrape.
I’m not sure why it’s even picking that up. I know that Kodi can make use of the headers in a limited fashion, but that’s just odd to me. Can you show us what the sources.xml look like?

</sources>I think I see the problem. It would appear to be a bug in the TMDB scraper. To confirm, try renaming the file again and remove the ’ (2018)’ from the filename so it’s just Incredibles 2.mkv
I have no idea why it would work for one profile and not the other.
