No connetion to the network server

After updating to Kodi 18.9, I can not find my distributed folders in my home network (SMB)
When I want to add a new source, I see nothing.
When I click on a distributed folder, it will say “Operation not permitted” and then “Could not connect `to the network server”.

What server are you using for the SMB?
Most people who had this issue were able to fix it with changing SMB protocol versions.
While the source of the issue is not fully clear to me.

Network Shares not availabe after October Update

Hello All, After the october update my network share does not browse. I keep getting the “operation not permitted” error. On my other, not updates OSMC devices, the same network share works just fine. Anyone an idea how to fix this problem?

SMB 'Operation not permitted' after changing OMV network drive

I’m getting an ‘operation not permitted’ error when I try to connect to my network drive over SMB (from OSMC running on a pi 3b+). I have a budget NAS set up with OMV and a raspberry pi, which had previously been working fine. I recently upgraded my hard drive and reinstalled OMV.
