Could anybody play SNES (Snes9x) on rpi2? In mine, emulator works, but audio has crackles and video misses frames.
works just fine on rpi3b might been some overclocking on rpi2 please come back with a list of working emulators ill add this one to comparability issues
I can tell you that quickNES works perfect in rpi2.

I have update my Pi2 to latest OSMC stable… apparently all works whitout any problems for all my daily addons but now i want to try the newest emulators.
On my PC i have a lot of collection of roms and for first time i have enabled all NES Emulators and i have installed the “Controller Profile”. I have connect my Gamestop xbox360 pad but now the main problems it’s… how i need to launch the emulators ??
I have enabled it but it’s not listed… another question it’s i can put the .nes on a external pendrive connected to an usb ports (i thinks it’s an idea to preserve the space on SD) ?

You add a path to your roms as a source under the Game menu on the home screen.
For moment i do this:
I copy sone .nes file to my pendrive. From build “File Manager” select a .nes files and it’s appears a list of NES emulator i enabled before. Select “QuickNES” and boom… working 
Add a source under game menu… in a moment i try to do this… if i need some help i back…
Genesis Plus GX is also working in rpi2. But just for mastersystem and sg1000 games. In megadrive games sound has crackles.
I’m afraid rpi2 is not enough for 16bit games, even with overclocking. I tried up to 1100mhz in megadrive and snes games, but it didn’t help.

Seems that anything for 16bits or higher seems to have performance issues for the RRi2

Read the entry about scummvm its all supported you only have to do it correctly.
With a Xbox 360 controller you can map the analog thumb sticks to mouse controll.
