[TESTING] Kodi 17 (Krypton) Beta Builds for all platforms

Hi, I have a Pi3 and a 23" Touchscreen HANNS-G HT231HPB.

OSMC with Kodi 17 works great. Touchscreen works in the top left corner correctly, but the further I move away the more the cursor deviates. I guess, I need to calibrate the touchscreen. Is there a how to do for Kodi 17?

Thank You very much!

This is a Kodi specific issue that you should address there. OSMC has no bearing on your problem. More relevant info should be available there.

See: http://kodi.wiki/view/Advancedsettings.xml#touchscreen

Thank you very much!!! It works now great!!!

Hmmm activated debug logs and did a restart, now it’s gone works as aspected. Nevermind

mmm… anyway to make this static so that the info doesn’t again disappear after x seconds??? Feature request perhaps? Thanks

I am just installed the Kodi 17 Krypton Beta build.
If I go into OSMC Update and to a scan for updates I see “Downloading Updates”, but after a few seconds I get:
OSMC Update Error --> Error installing: Please report this on the OSMC forum.

Where can I get a log to find this problem?
I am new with OSMC. Thansk for help.

And if I want to get Addons from the Repository I get the error “Cant connect to the Repository”!

First try to update from Command Line

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

If still an error than provide logs via grab-logs -A

To access command line check this

Thanks for the quick info.
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade was working.
sudo apt-get update has thrown some errors, see picture:

And here the logs:

Edit your /etc/apt/sources.list you have multiple entries for the repository and one is wrong

deb http://atp.osmc.tv krypton main
deb http://apt.osmc.tv krypton main

Thanks that fixed the problem with Update, but not the problem with the repository addons :frowning:
I get again “Can’t connect to the repository” if I select “Install from Repository”.

That’s because the repository URLs are wrong. The fix for this is documented in this thread a few posts up. You can find the post using the “search this thread” facility.

Just out of interest what should a good /etc/apt/sources.list file look like for Krypton?

Mine is:-
deb Index of /debian jessie main contrib non-free

deb Index of /debian jessie-updates main contrib non-free

deb http://security.debian.org/ jessie/updates main contrib non-free

deb http://apt.osmc.tv jessie main

deb http://apt.osmc.tv krypton main
