I’ve never used the rar functionality before so can’t comment if its working or not. Never seen the point of this tbh :slight_smile:

Looking at your logs there is some sort of incompatibility on the .rar file. Probably best to check with the addon maintainer.

Thanks for the replay. I have loads of movies in rar files so I did use this functionality a lot. It worked with Krypton and wonder if anyone in Leia release pushed it to work? And yes, I know it is alpha :slight_smile:

Hi all, I’m running Kodi 18 on the Vero 4k only since a few days and I wonder if the “Amazon VOD” Add-On is running with inputstream. I tested it but I get a error message. In the corresponding community to this addon some others also are facing this issue. Most of them are running Kodi 18 with libreelec.

And the solution shall be using an actual libwidevinecdm.so (for example 1.4.8.1029).

So my quesions: Was this Add-On running before and in general? And how to update libwidevinecdm.so. Is this possible on osmc?

This library is already included. You should find it under
/home/osmc/.kodi/cdm

Yes, I need the newest one. But sounds like I can use the scripts which are also available for Libreelec to extract it from chromium. I will give it a try. Thanks @kid63
