Vero 4K+ ISO 3D MVC 24p framepacking can't play -> fixed

Please, help me to play 3D MVC 1080p 24p framepaking.

Vero 4K+ connected by Yamaha RX-V585 with Optoma HD39Darbee

Its played perfect in 2D, but when i try to switch to 3D i have problem.

I have 3 otions:
SideBySide - see half of picture in 24p Optoma mode
OverUnder - see half of picture in 24p Optoma mode
AsSource - Optoma switch to 50p mode and i see black screen.

It seems that Optoma does not understand 24p framepacking?

Please help.

Thank you for fast ansver. This is Vero 4K+. I will try to make logs

Can i do this from Kodi skin?

Yes, it works from any skin.

logs https://paste.osmc.tv/anagivuror
i opened 3d movie and choose “as movie”
it seems, that movie was played as SideBySide - because Optoma detected 3D and show left and right eye as half of the picrture.
After I switched to OverUnder - I see black screen Optoma and it reported 1080p 50hz.
i was forced to stop movie to back to menu.
there is no item in 3D menu - framepacking. only SideBySide and OverUnder.

You need to using Kernel 4.9 and Mediacenter 18.6 for proper 3D playback. Check this thread.

I found! In process

After updating with thread instructions - sutiation is the same. After i start 3D video in “Same as movie” - i got Optoma in 1080p 50Hz mode and black screen.

Log : https://paste.osmc.tv/lilotalata

vero3-mediacenter-osmc 18.7.1-5
The issue is now that you are on 18.7. You would need to downgrade to 18.6 which may not work as you had been on 18.5 before the upgrade.

already doing “sudo apt-get install --reinstall vero3-mediacenter-osmc=18.6.0-13”

what is “Sam” mean? is it important?

That is in the next line in the original post not part of the command.
Right command is sudo apt-get install --reinstall vero3-mediacenter-osmc=18.6.0-13 but I guess you get an error as you never had that version installed.

Downgrade successfulll - let me test 3D…

Timtout - now my HDMI cable die… Need to replace…

Its worked… Thank you for support. Appeared 3D type menu item “Hardware based”.

Frankly speaking 3D ISO MVC was the only thing why i have purchased Vero 4K+.

And now its work.

Thanks.
