Ordered 12 Aug, First delivery attempt 28 September (Switzerland). Luckily friends got it on 1 October (had to pay 30 CHF / Francs “import duty” though). Guess they not part of the EU.
Thanx for the effort to change my delivery adres 2 or 3 times. Hopefully I will have it soon (much sooner than if I tried to have it ship to South Africa)…

We pay import duties on our side. There are no duties to be paid for any international delivery. Please get your friend to contact us via support@osmc.tv and we will start an investigation.
We’re sick of paying customs fees for Switzerland only for them to charge customers too. We will get this refunded for your friend.

My order #19957 was shipped on 27th but stuck in Gatwick since 28th. Amazing Russian Post.
Hm, it seems it was shipped by ordinary Russian Post, not express one, so delivery may take up to 4 weeks

@rlps75 I am facing a similar issue. Package was shipped on Sept 25 and apparently reached US on Sept 28. Since then it has been stuck for 5 days at the first point of entry (Chicago) presumably for customs clearance with no further movement/update on USPS or Royal Mail website whatsoever.
I am now starting to wonder if the package is lost. Royal Mail website says it takes 5-7 working days for the delivery. Today is the 6th working day so it is still within the ‘normal’ timeframe.
@sam_nazarko What would be the course of action in case the package is lost during transit/shipping? And how long would it be before we can safely determine that it is indeed lost?
I’ve had this randomly with RM → USPS shipments. I don’t know if it’s customs or USPS that is the holdup, but I suspect customs.
Don’t we get a tracking number, so we can follow the package? Thanks in advance.

Wait until customs releases it. Not really much you can do unfortunately. I think I’ve waited 7 days in the past. Since the Vero is in the US, not much that Sam could really do for you. I guess you could try contacting the USPS for help.
