Vero 4K Netflix and Streaming general

Will this probably work for longer or is a slight change in encrypting e.g. by Netflix enough to break the support?

Yep, I know… But it would be great, if Netflix and Amazon would tolerate all this. It’s not breaking encryption and gives them more customers probably.

Exactly, in my opinion there’s nothing illegal, we pay for it and it’s no hacking! I don’t think they will.

Ofcause… it have nothing to do with hacking! - I am still waiting for the automatic stretch upgrade before i will upgrade kodi to 18, so i can watch netflix directly.

I wish the same was possible with HBO Nordic… but who knows in time ?

But u have to be clear that in kodi 18 only one skin is available and u definitely recognize the alpha-state, so somehow a step back, but for me it’s worth it!

You can hack OSMC skin to “work” with v.18, some grapics/text missing. But usable, had some stabillity issues, but i dont know if that’s skin related.

Where there is missing graphics/text you can often click there to get function anyway.

Change “5.12.0” to “5.13.0” and save.

THIS IS A HACK, more work is needed to get the thing working as it should, but i’m not fluent enough in skinning to work it out yet.

-First off i am pleased that this forum is so nice, and people here also.

My update to stretch went well without any problems during install (watched it on big screen from couch with coffee).

So next step is to install kodi 18

Any best way to do this ?

Update: When OSMC stable is released it will be based on 18.1. The Nightly builds are now at 18.2RC1 so in order to avoid confusion its time to bump the nightly releases to 18.8 This requires that you update your sources.list and point to gmc-19. The other day netflix suddently stopped working. I did not do much fault clearance yet, but would like to know if others experience the same issue ?

I will ofcause paste logs etc… if anyone here say’s so! - But for a start just hear if it’s just me having this issue ?

only had an issue with amazon, which was related to an old libwidewine, in this case search for an error in ur kodi.log that looks like this:
